Its antioxidant level is 10-30 times higher than red wine. It can prevent thrombosis, improve blood circulation, enhance anti-oxidation function, slow down aging and prevent cardiovascular diseases.

According to Muralee Nari, Michigan State University natural products chemists, as shown in the latest study, consumption of fruit which containing anthocyanins can regulate the concentration of human insulin to help fighting against diabetes. It can also increase the generation of insulin cells amount up to 50%. Some scientists also believe that acai-berry can prevent cancer, help fighting against aging and leukemia. Research done by University of Florida shows that acai- berry will help leukemia cells to kill each other. As a result, four-fifths of cancer cells can be killed.

Acai-berry is rich in anti-oxidation, amino acids and essential fatty acids. 100 grams of Acai-Berry have only 90 calories, 2 grams of fat but no cholesterol. It contains 3.5 grams of dietary fiber.
